A female ninja, or kunoichi, inspired by the japanese module for Call of Cthulhu titled "Hieizan Enjou" ("Mount Hiei in Flames").
Imagine Call of Cthulhu set into the historical period covered by Akira Kurosawa's movies such as Ran and Throne of Blood. When I saw the book on a shelf, I knew it had to be mine. And this caracter eventually came out. I want to make the full figure portrait in full color, but that will require some time... in the meantime, I did this primo piano in b&w
Ohhh, kami-sama... now I'm gonna say something that most possibly would put me out of the general crowd but... beautiful boobies if you want to know! ^___^ Specially the tattoo! Female criminals of that era had some really beautiful tattoos if you ask me <3 It must hurt a lot to have it done on the breasts but I must say it looks very amazing. Beautiful shading on the eye-patch, too! And her expression... very assassin-like somehow, very believable X3 Your works are very stylish ^_^ and I love black'n'white MUCHLY! A friend of mine who's an engineer at some TV station once said that the best colors have always been the greys. That was when we watched the picture on a TV preview monitor and he was touching some contacts and then suddenly the colors went off and the picture became so much more beautiful and sharp in b/w, I guess that made him say that. What a poetic guy! :3 I think your shading looks pretty amazing in b/w ^___^ The contrast is very well balanced too <3 Please keep it up!
Thank you!! Wow! What a warm comment!
This really makes me happy...
Deciding the brightness/contrast and color curve levels was no easy task at all. I simply couldn't decided which was better, and I eventually settled for this one before collapsing in bed... it was 2am.
Er, perchance you'd prefer to depict this one character instead of Miura? ^__^
The flowers on her breasts are supposed to be peonies, from a tattoo I once saw somewhere in the 'net...
Sure but the complicated thing is...I can't think up the rest of her design just looking at the top part ^^ If you could rough-sketch a full body reference, that would be cool ^_^ Or since you have a full body pic of her planned anyway, I can wait until it's drawn by you first :3
And that happens to me quite often, I hate leaving a picture unfinished so sometimes it takes pretty long before I can finally go to bed happily ^^ So working til 2am is totally understandable!

You know the oxygen masks on airplanes ? I don't think there's really any oxygen. I think they're just to muffle the screams.
