I bought a new tablet (Intuos3 A5 format) and immediately started doodling with it. This is what came out of it. Even if I'm not that used to tablets, I think the difference between this and my previous works is quite well visible... I think I'm satisfied for now. Especially with how the orichalcum armor and blade came out. I was kind of afraid that it would come out too monochromatic, but in the end adding some blueish texture (just barely visible) helped a lot. The most time consuming detail was the writing on the blade (you may find the First Age alphabet in "Dreams of the First Age"). Dang, I need to work on precision with this tablet... This might even be another Exalted character, although I haven't thought about a name yet. I'm not that fond of Solars, but I felt inspired into drawing one with a grand daiklave and grand... charisma Hope you like it after this very long hiatus. If you feel like naming her, I'll listen to your suggestions

Molto bella! Rimango dell'idea che l'incarnato forse dovesse essere più in linea col resto, ma può comunque essere una scelta! Per il nome... be' non so se sia il caso che mi metta a pensarci... già ho le mie difficoltà a trovarne per i miei personaggi!
Great show for a solar, did she spend background points for that much charisma? *had to do it*
Anyhow, I like it. It has a final-fantasy feel to it... I'll have to give the name a longer thought before I throw out one. Naming a solar exalted is something big, like naming a deathlord.

Definitely a cool piece! I like the use of the fx on the blade to give it that three dimensional look. ^.^ I also like the detail on her armor. Nicely done!

Dont let the smile fool you...Im really a nice guy.
It does work incredibly well with the character and the dynamics of the pose. Great to see new work and to see you adapt to the tablet so quickly. Hopefully there's more where this came from in the near future. I love seeing your work.

The sword and painting style is pretty awesome! (forgot to mention that)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

Hmmm, I'll have to try that trick with the blue on armor, I've a character that coloring armor seems off, that'll help
