The idea of portraying my Dragon Blooded character in Ukiyo-e style actually came from
 who showed me some of her beautiful ukiyo-e drawings and made me realize how well the style blends with the Exalted setting. So I decided to try and experiment, since the style was totally new to me. The documentation actually took longer than the realization, but luckily I found a rather good book full with reference. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. What book did you use? I'm trying to draw an Exalted character portrait for my girlfriend's birthday (which is now long overdue) and I'm looking for a way to make it stand out and be special, so I'm trying various ideas for the style of it and I'm struggling to settle on one.
